The Djibouti Municipality initiated the project in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).21 The Italian Military Support Base (BMIS) and the Italian Ministry of Defense22 funded the project. It was implemented and inaugurated in 2019 by the Municipality of Djibouti City.23
